i was born to eat
but was i really born to consume?
i went insane having to eat one thing
and whenever i was force fed i was stinged
ive tried many varieties
i ended up liking meat
no matter what my family or society fed me
i ended up liking meat
ive met others like me and felt seen
ive once looked too long at it and it affected how i think
but maybe this is what i was made for
even if i wasnt familiar with it before
i craved it, they thought "how unhealthy."
i was then looking at it correctly and things made sense more
i have to embrace this
to embrace me for being me
i thank myself for trying
and for not dying
