hey!!!! this page is all about oshikatsu, a sub-culture that was popularized in Japan but possibly rooted from beatlemania. Oshikatsu is the concept of being devoted to characters, idols, etc. there is a few vocabulary that i'll use here so you can know

oshikatsu - means "favorite activites"

oshi - the character who is your favorite. literally means "favorite" in japanese.

kami oshi - your number 1 favorite oshi. basically the one you're devoted to the most. combines kami (god) and oshi (favorite).

OK SO my appreciation for him started out when i was watching yellow submarine. it started out with me loving his character + design in the movie to researching about him. i started to realize what i was doing for lennon when i was getting back on tiktok in and learning about the topic of oshikatsu. since then, ive been making things based off of john that mainly focuses on his yellow submarine character, but also including the actual person. i have a wip ita bag + shoulder bag i both bring at school, figure i got off of ebay, books, and more i think i have 2 get outta the library soon
