Hey and welcome to the 1 and only shrine in Judelynn!! This page in the site is going to talk about the Beatles, my special interest. You may know them from a few popular songs, but not have enough information on who they are (unless you're a beatlemaniac that does research like me).

Who were the Beatles?

From the Quarrymen to the Silver Beetles to the Beatles, they are a band that started to form in 1960 in England, Liverpool. The members of this band consisted of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Richard Starkey -- his stage name Ringo Starr, though Ringo Starr was not an original member as there were former members like Stuart Sutcliffe and Pete Best.

Why I like the Beatles

Like I have stated, because of my last after school teacher in elementary, but there are more reasons. The songs are nostalgic for me even if I wasn't around when Beatlemania has started, when the Beatles were formed, had a rise and fall. Their songs are genuinely well written and some songs of theirs have an upbeat feeling, while others may have a down feeling that makes them relatable. The songs can also fall in different genres, and not just in one which makes them unique -- take the songs in their self titled album (KNOWN AS THE WHITE ALBUM, IF YOU AREN'T AWARE) as an example. Doing research while learning new facts about them are interesting — though the early facts about them are even more interesting to say the least. Finally, they are not a perfect band. I've said it. Not every band doesn't have to have perfect things such as how their music sound like even if I like most of them — but there are music that are just not perfect. Thats fine because they don't have to ace what they do, all they were doing was making art, having fun (not in the later years of the band though), and evolving their own art, so if you don't like them as much as I do it's okay.
